Earlier, there were rumours that Ranveer Singh might play Shaktimaan, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now.Mukesh Khanna is well known for his role of Shaktimaan. Recently, news of a film being made on this show came out and it was said that Ranveer Singh will be seen in the role of Shaktimaan. However, Mukesh Khanna did not like Ranveer playing the role of Shaktimaan. Mukesh Khanna said that to play the role of Shaktimaan, there should be an actor who is honest and innocent. He clearly said that Mukesh Khanna had said that he did not want Ranveer to play the role of Shaktimaan because Ranveer Singh had done a nude photoshoot.

I performed well in Shaktimaan because it came from within me. It is all about confidence in acting. When I am shooting, I forget about the camera. I am happier than anyone else to be Shaktimaan again. It feels from the heart to be Shaktimaan.

On wanting to bring Shaktimaan back to the new generation, Mukesh Khanna said, “I am fulfilling my duty which I started in 1997 and continued till 2005. I feel that my work should reach the masses in 2027 because today’s generation is running blindly. They have to be stopped and they have to be asked to take a breath.
